OMNIYAT is a Dubai property developer working in the city’s high-end residential, commercial and hospitality market. Mahdi Amjad founded the company in 2005, according to the company’s own account, and was still its executive chairman as of February 2026. Its projects are designed by outside architecture practices: Zaha Hadid Architects designed The Opus in Business Bay, which houses the ME Dubai hotel, and Foster + Partners designed The Lana. Dorchester Collection manages or services several OMNIYAT hotels and branded residences, among them One at Palm Jumeirah, completed in 2021 with 94 homes, and The Lana, which opened on 1 February 2024 as Dorchester Collection’s first Middle East hotel. OMNIYAT is also building residences, offices and hotels at Marasi Bay in Business Bay. The company is privately held and publishes audited consolidated accounts.
